Bertrand Gautherot began tending his family`s vines at Buxières-sur-Arce in 1986, farming biodynamically from 1998 and bottling his first Champagne in the early 2000s, encouraged by Anselme Selosse. Five hectares on Kimmeridgian and Portlandian limestone, the same geology as Chablis. This is the estate`s top cuvée: pure Pinot Noir.
