The highest-ranked classified growth in the Haut-Médoc, a 1855 third growth on alluvial gravel at Ludon. Frost left just five hectares planted by 1958, and Georges Brunet rebuilt it. The Frey family bought it in 2000, with Caroline Frey converting to organic from 2013, certified from 2016. Planted 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot. Steven Spurrier gave the 2012 92 points in Decanter, and James Suckling scored it 91.
