The late Denis Durantou of Pomerol`s L`Église-Clinet bought Les Cruzelles in Lalande-de-Pomerol in 2000, and this is its easier-drinking wine. The vineyard sits a kilometre from his Pomerol base and is planted 88% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc. Jancis Robinson singled out the 2014 as great value.
